We Have Liftoff!

We just went live with our new website.  There is plenty to check out, and there will plenty more coming in the next year, so come back often!  Again, we're located at http://www.forestparkrunners.org/.

This past Saturday, the NYRR club held an inaugural run, Boomer's Cystic Fibrosis Run To Breathe.  When Boomer Esiason took the mic, and stated how we were all maniacs to run, he wasn't kidding.  The humidity was already at over 90%.  With the heat to go along with it, the race would be a challenge.

KJ (Khemdat Jainarain) was not a believer of the challenging weather however.  He provided his own heat, torching the Central Park course in 37:57, good enough for 3rd place in his division, and 22nd overall.  He and 5 other Forest Park Runners did the team proud and completed this veritable mixture of hazardous weather.

Just an idea to tell you how hot it was!!!
